An 8 week course of 1:1 learning and coaching that takes wild mustang owners from frustrated and lost –to confidently knowing what and how to successfully gentle a wild mustang by using proven methods.

~The 7 Stages Of Mustang Gentling~

Stage 1: Preparation & Familiarization

This stage is packed full of learning the terminology that will be used in the course, the necessary tools to be successful and a deep dive into mustang management. Learn all our secrets on how our mustangs look and feel so incredible! Get pumped up and motivated to power through this course and come out on the other side full of confidence and ability to gentle wild mustangs.

Stage 2: First Touch & Starting +R (Positive Reinforcement)

In this stage we will be doing the exciting FIRSTS! Getting that first touch and first halter on (if not haltered yet) is one of the most exciting moments in life. You will learn how to train to properly follow a feel and the first necessary steps to prevent bolting. PLUS you will start incorporating +R (Positive Reinforcement) training to accelerate your results!

Stage 3: Catching, Leading & Lunging, Desensitizing and Starting Target Training (+R)

Pretty self explanatory what will be covered in this stage. It is a big one! You will see how all these items relate and build on each other. This is often where a lot of people get stuck. We will show you how to keep progressing, keep it simple and have fun while doing it. In the +R section we will start target training! This tool will be super useful throughout your horse's training journey.

Stage 4: Advanced Catching & Body Control

We will go over seeing if it’s finally time to remove that halter. The three ways to properly halter your horse and how to implement best practices for a lifetime of easy catching. Next up is teaching body control so you can keep your horse and yourself safe in all situations. This step is skipped by soooo many people but not here! See how doing this work will get your horse so focused on you and like putty in your hands. We then show you HOW to incorporate +R (Positive Reinforcement) into your training to turbo charge your success.

Stage 5: Leading Outside, Round Pen Work & Feet

Now we are ready to head out into the wide scary world. We show you how we do round pen work in a simple, logical way that will lay the foundation for under saddle work later in life. Then we tackle the scary feet in a safe way that will set them up for success with the farrier. We continue showing you how to incorporate +R into the training for faster results.

Stage 6: Tying Prep, Grooming & Progressing Feet

Learn everything necessary to prepare your horse to never pull back and be completely comfortable hard tying anywhere. We really get into progressing touching all over and grooming from head to tail safely. Now your wild horse is ready to willingly pick up all four feet and have them cleaned out. This is about the time most (if they haven’t already) really start to enjoy their time with you and being touched. It’s the most heart bursting feeling ever!

Stage 7: Tying, Trailer Loading & Farrier Prep

In this stage your wild horse is ready to hard tie! Then they can be loaded in a trailer easily and learn how to not only lead off the trailer but softly back off the trailer as well. We also go over the final steps to prepare for the first farrier visit and even how to confidently trim your own wild mustang!

1:1 Coaching Calls

Each week, we will meet on Zoom as a group to go over the upcoming week's goals, education, videos and curriculum. You will also get a 1:1 coaching session with either Isidro or Amber to instruct you LIVE while you work with your wild mustang!

8 Weeks of Course Curriculum

Each week we will go over a new stage towards developing a solid foundation for your wild mustang LIVE with you and a group of students just like you. We will answer any questions you may have about the training material live as well so you are confident you can implement the new instruction successfully. These sessions will be recorded and sent to you to rewatch at will, forever. The presentation will also be in a downloadable/printable format for your note taking and review. This will be YOUR curriculum to keep and use over and over again!

Weekly Action Plan & Training Videos

You will receive weekly goals with step by step guidance on what to do and when. There will be training videos to give you real world examples of what to expect and what to do while training a wild horse. Videos will cover a variety of horse types you will encounter of the horse learning in REAL TIME. You will know EXACTLY what to do and in what order.

Community Support

In our private community you can ask us questions and get answers M-Saturday within 24hrs! You can also share successes and struggles with fellow MGB (Mustang Gentling Blueprint) members, support each other and feel like you are not alone. You will have LIFETIME access to this group! We Are Isidro & Amber Espinoza

 

We make up Isidro Espinoza Horsemanship and we crafted a blueprint for passionate wild mustang owners to take them from lost, confused, stressed and struggling –to confident, empowered, excited and successful!

This course is a culmination of our life’s work and passion for helping wild mustangs & their people.

 

We both come from a lifetime of working with and training horses. We met in 2005 at one of the largest breeding horse farms in North America. Horses brought us together and we were set on a trajectory to have them infiltrate every part of our lives and beings.

As we started our family we trained our first wild horses in California and fell in love with them. They were unlike any breed we had ever worked with before. This fueled us to become passionate about helping them in any way we could.

 

We participated in every mustang competition and program we could find. To learn more about them, bring awareness to them and help others.

 

But we noticed a huge persistent problem. 

 

People would get stuck and need help but the help wasn’t out there or it was too expensive or too far away for most mustang owners to obtain.

We already made all the mistakes training hundreds of mustangs in the past 15 years. We have honed our skills to be efficient and effective. We have assessed thousands of mustangs from all over the country and really narrowed down what works well for the majority of them and how to do simple changes based on each unique personality to achieve success.

 

Now, I know precisely how to help other passionate wild mustang owners to develop and achieve the partnership they have always dreamed of.

 

And we want to help as many wild mustangs get into and stay in permanent homes as possible. Educating and supporting those amazing homes is the best way to do just that.
